What bothers me is that you are so closed minded and obviously suffer without a faith as you would not exude such negativism if you had a spiritual enlightment ; open your mind and soul, and the joys of the lord will fill you very being and you will see.....
The only book I would ever read more than once! January 3, 2010 christina (towson maryland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I read this book for the first time 10 years ago and I just reread it. I will not wait ten years to read it again. The Road Less Traveled is without a doubt one of the best books ever written. If everyone read this book, and had enough insight to understand Peck's information, the world would be a better place. Each time I read it, I become focused on being a better person. If you are contemplating this purchase- you should buy the book- it will not disappoint you!

The Very Best December 17, 2009 Thomas J. Kapostasy (Carmel, IN United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
30 years later, the author's words are crisp and newly insightful. It's an existential world. You are responsible for your life. The stories help to understand what you can do to become more self-aware. The road requires courage and a willingness to engage the next level of challenge time after time, in spite of .... The alternative is death, duplicity, falling, confusion, naive stories, simplistic religion, simplistic rationality, vanilla ecumenicism, puddly relativism. In essence, this is Kierkegaard's leap a century later. What do you know? What will you do? How will you know? In spite of uncertainty, what will you do? What do you think now? Peck provided us with a gift that everyone can read and understand. Like the Meatloaf song, "what's it gonna be boy, yes or no?" We are all faced with an existentialist challenge. This is a GREAT place to start the journey. Only if you have the courage.
